Reflecting with Teachers: Digital Citizenship, SAMR, and What do wewant our students to know.

Digital Citizenship and One to One Learning: What do you want our students to know?

30 Minute Meeting in Departments

Talk about learning in a one to one environment!

Read this. The word Lecture comes from the latin word for read..
Watch this. We are digital. Our students are digital.

Reflection:

What have you seen change in students this year?

Where are you on the SAMR Model of Tech Integration?
*
What do you want our students to know?

What could CIS tech do to improve the one to one experience?

Finally,
Should all students at CIS have one blog to use as an electronic portfolio? This blog would be used across subjects and areas of the school. The students would reflect, post, share, and build their digital footprint on this one blog. Lots of information here.
What do you think?

Blogging...First Steps

Welcome to my first blog post using blogger!

This blog will be completed solely on the iPad.
This site was started using Safari and a gmail account.

I then picked a name, a website address (URL), then a template.
Next I made this post.
I added text first.
Then I added a photo from my Dropbox.
It would not let me put in a photo from camera roll. This will add a step to the iPad workflow.
Can't access Camera Roll of iPad- Boo Hoo, but
Blogger does tie up with Dropbox.
Finally I added a different font and changed the bold type and size of the title.

I also added the location, tags, and permanent link names for this page.  These buttons a on the right side of the iPad screen.

I originally wrote off the bottom of this screen.  It was not visible when I previewed the post so I deleted so,e white space.
